Why I Created Vessel Tuneparty

Vessel Tune was born out of a problem I experienced firsthand… over and over again while on the water.

If you’ve ever been part of a sandbar raft-up, you already know the scene. Dozens of boats tied together, friends everywhere, the blazing sun… and then the music starts. Every boat playing a different song. Different volumes. Different vibes. Chaos.

Growing up in the Charleston boating community, I spent countless days on the water. I loved the social side of boating, tying up with friends, meeting new people, and experiencing moments that would never happen without boats. But the audio situation never made sense to me. Boats had great sound systems, yet there was no clean way to sync them together.

That’s where Vessel Tune started.

I didn’t want another Bluetooth speaker. I didn’t want Wi-Fi. And I definitely didn’t want noticeable delay. Boats don’t operate like houses or cars, they move, they spread out, and they live in harsh environments. Whatever the solution was, it had to be built specifically for boats.

So I started experimenting.

After years of testing different wireless methods, audio paths, and real-world conditions on the water, the idea became clear: one boat should host the music, and every other boat should hear it at the exact same time. No lag, no echo, no mess.

Vessel Tune is designed to do exactly that.

One host. Unlimited boats. Perfect sync. Zero chaos.

It’s not about blasting music louder than everyone else. It’s about creating one shared atmosphere. One playlist. One moment. Whether you’re anchored at a sandbar, tied up at the dock, or floating with friends, Vessel Tune brings everyone onto the same vibe.

I created Vessel Tune because boating is better when it’s shared and sound should travel just as freely as the experience itself.

Because sound travels.
And now, so does the vibe.
