Limited Warranty & Legal Terms

1. Limited Warranty

Vessel Tune, LLC (“Vessel Tune”) warrants to the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) that the Vessel Tune product (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, when used under normal operating conditions and installed according to recommended marine wiring practices.

2. Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty covers:

• Defects in materials or workmanship

• Failure of internal components under normal use

• Manufacturing-related hardware issues

At its sole discretion, Vessel Tune will:

• Repair the Product

• Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit

• Or provide a functionally equivalent replacement

3. Exclusions & What Is NOT Covered

This Limited Warranty does NOT cover damage or failure caused by:

• Improper installation, wiring, or mounting

• Use of non-marine-grade wiring or power sources

• Incorrect voltage, reverse polarity, or electrical surges

• Water intrusion caused by improper mounting, modification, or damage

• Physical damage, impact, drops, crushing, or abrasion

• Corrosion caused by improper practices or environmental exposure

• Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair

• Use of the Product outside its intended purpose

• Normal cosmetic wear and tear

• Acts of God, including but not limited to flooding, lightning, fire, or extreme weather

4. Installation Responsibility

The Purchaser is responsible for proper installation of the Product.
Improper installation or failure to follow basic marine electrical standards may void this warranty.

Professional installation is recommended but not required.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the Purchaser must:

1. Contact Vessel Tune with proof of purchase

2. Provide a description of the issue

3. Provide photos or video upon request

No product shall be returned without prior authorization from Vessel Tune. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

6. Shipping Responsibilities

• Purchaser is responsible for shipping the Product to Vessel Tune for evaluation

• Vessel Tune will pay return shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements within the continental United States

• International customers are responsible for all shipping, duties, and taxes

7. Non-Transferability

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser and is non-transferable.

8. Disclaimer of Other Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

VESSEL TUNE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VESSEL TUNE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

• LOSS OF USE OR LOSS OF ENJOYMENT

• DAMAGE TO OTHER EQUIPMENT OR VESSELS

• LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR  LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT VIOLATIONS

  VESSEL TUNE’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

10. Use at Your Own Risk

The Product is intended for recreational marine use.
The Purchaser assumes all risks associated with installation and use of the Product.

Vessel Tune is not responsible for:

• Unsafe boating behavior

• Excessive audio volume

• Violation of local noise or boating regulations

11. Governing Law

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Severability

If any provision of this warranty is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
